We hope to enter into various mutual relationships with like-minded organizations such as DDB to make our charge more significant.”
The film, “Susie’s Hope” (released nationally in January 2016), is based on the true story of Susie’s Hope founder Donna Lawrence and her beloved pit bull mix, “Susie.” As a puppy, “Susie” was beaten, burned and left for dead by her owner. She found a home with Lawrence, a survivor of a vicious pit bull attack that left her with permanent injuries, including the inability to have children. Their story of hope, trust and love is captured in the motion picture film directed by Jerry Rees and produced by Lawrence alongside Susie’s Hope Vice President, Eve Roser.
